Can I walk into a dealership to purchase the car I want, without reserving online?
Yes you can! We are open – please feel safe and welcome to visit our Showroom. Our team is also ready and waiting to support you over the phone. Simply contact the Dealership via phone or email and we will be happy to help.
How long is my vehicle reserved for?
We will reserve the vehicle of your choice for 48 hours, from the date your reservation payment fee is confirmed by email.

Can I reserve more than one vehicle?
You are welcome to individually reserve as many vehicles as you wish.
Can I reserve a vehicle at one dealership and test drive it at another Metro Renault dealership?
You must attend a test drive at the location of the vehicle as displayed on the website. The vehicle cannot be transferred between dealerships, when reserved online.
How much is the reservation fee?
The cost of reserving a vehicle is a AUD$200.00 refundable fee.
Who handles your reservation fee payment?
We use NAB Transact – a major Australian bank and a safe, approved and trusted payments service to manage the reservation fee transaction, so that you can reserve your car online safely and securely.
Are my credit/debit card details stored anywhere?
The Metro Renault do not view or store any credit/debit card information. Your card details are processed by NAB Transact.
Any payment transactions will be encrypted using NAB Transact’s authenticated payment system for your security and peace of mind.
What happens if I decide I don’t want the vehicle?
Wasn’t your cup of tea? No worries, we’ll refund your reservation fee in full.
You can cancel the reservation fee at any time, and once processed, you will be refunded within 3-5 working days.
To cancel your reservation, simply contact the Dealership where the vehicle is located.
Is the reservation fee used as part of my deposit?
Yes, we will deduct your reservation fee from the deposit of your new car should you wish to proceed with the sale.
Reservation Terms & Conditions
In reserving a vehicle the Customer ("You") agree to pay a Reservation Fee by Credit or Debit Card which enables us ("Metro Renault" or "Us") to remove the vehicle from sale to the general public and hold the vehicle for a limited period to allow You to enter into an agreement to buy the vehicle from Us.
In reserving a vehicle, we will remove the vehicle from sale for a period of 48 hours. Within 48 hours of the Reservation being confirmed as paid, You will have exclusive rights to conclude the purchase and enter into an agreement to purchase the vehicle from Us.
Reserving the vehicle does not enter You into a contract to purchase the vehicle, You will not be committed to buy the vehicle until You have completed and signed a standard Metro Renault Vehicle Purchase Form.
If You have not agreed to purchase the Vehicle within 48 hours of reservation. We reserve the right to make the Vehicle available for sale to the general public again and will refund You the Reservation Fee back to the original credit or debit card used to make the initial Reservation.
The Reservation Fee is not a deposit and shall not constitute a contract for the sale or purchase of a vehicle. However, if You decide to purchase the Vehicle, You agree that we will retain the Reservation Fee as part payment towards the purchase price of the Vehicle.
If You wish to cancel the Reservation we will refund the Reservation Fee. Refunds may take up to 10 days to appear on your credit or debit card statement.
We may cancel the reservation for whatever reason whereupon we will refund the Reservation Fee.
This Agreement will be subject to Australian Courts.
Nothing in these terms and conditions will affect or limit the statutory rights of the customer.
